I have a certificate!

Updated: Jun 16, 2020

The difference between knowledge and experience... I recall noting that my hosting provider provides a free certificate, but didn't realize that it would be applied automatically. Then, I thought I'd have an opportunity to figure out how to use Let's Encrypt (https://letsencrypt.org/), but logged on today, to note a lovely certificate, giving me an "A" rating on SSL Labs (https://www.ssllabs.com/) Yay!

#TIL that editing an existing blog post keeps the original posting date, so now my second post is older than my first. Also starting to refine my page by stripping out what I don't need at first. I expect to expand again as I learn more.

Next step is to figure out how to add the featured posts to the front page, set up a basic "About" page, and continue learning my way around the tools and template. At some point, I'll get to the point where I'm willing to start handing out the link to a few people, but I want to get past at least a few of the obvious sorts of issues.

Cheers!
